Jasmin flowers & Fennel seeds
Due to their antiseptic and diuretic properties, these ingredients are known for their ability to fight various bacteria. Also their contribution in promoting urination, which eliminates water retention and bloating. Fennel is also known for its ability to help repair damage tissues of the digestive system.
Butterfly pea flower & Anise
Very rich in antoxidants, butterfly pea, is also said to have anti-inflammatory properties which could help relief heartburn and nausea. Additionally, it promotes the liver's production of bile while soothing stomach muscles. Anise is well known for its digestive properties in relieving abdominal pain and discomfort.
Butterfly pea tea: A healthy herbal tea
Anise, licorice, jasmin flowers, butterfly pea flower, fennel seeds…this blue tea is potent blend of herbs and roots well mixed together to create an excellent tisane for heartburn. Light, spicy with a sweet grassy taste, enjoy this delicious gut-healing tea.
For each cup (8 oz) of tea, pour 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea, then boil water directly on the leaves. Leave to brew for 3 to 5 minutes, as desired.
Add honey, sugar, milk, lemon or nothing at all.
